PntGuard is a complete Maritime Navigation Assurance Platform, purpose-built to protect vessels against GNSS jamming, spoofing, and meaconing while delivering an authenticated Alternative Position, Navigation and Timing (APNT) capability anywhere in the world.
The system combines three integrated components—the Above Deck Unit (ADU), Below Deck Unit (BDU), and the SkyRouter™ Fleet Intelligence Platform—to provide trusted navigation from the vessel’s bridge to fleet operations centres.
Designed for commercial shipping, offshore operations, government agencies, and defence organizations, PntGuard seamlessly integrates into existing bridge systems while providing operational intelligence far beyond conventional GNSS monitoring.
Core Capabilities
The open architecture enables shipowners to integrate trusted APNT information into existing bridge systems without replacing current navigation equipment.
Every second, the system securely records:
Up to 60 days of encrypted operational data can be downloaded directly from the BDU for:
Providing an independent record of the vessel’s true navigation history.
SkyRouter™ extends PntGuard beyond the vessel by providing operators with a secure cloud-based Fleet Intelligence Platform.
Using the Iridium® satellite network, SkyRouter delivers continuous fleet visibility with 100% global coverage, allowing operators to monitor vessels anywhere on Earth. Unlike conventional tracking systems, SkyRouter displays both:
allowing operators to immediately distinguish manipulated GNSS positions from the vessel’s true authenticated location.
Fleet Intelligence
Operators can monitor:
Organizations with existing fleet management systems, operational command centres, or maritime security platforms can integrate PntGuard directly into their own software environment.
Available interfaces include:
Customers can choose between using SkyRouter™ as a turnkey solution or integrating PntGuard into their own operational infrastructure.

PntGuard has been engineered to complement—not replace—existing maritime navigation systems.
It integrates with:
Installation requires minimal modification to existing bridge infrastructure while significantly increasing navigation resilience.
PntGuard has been developed through one of the maritime industry’s most comprehensive operational validation programmes.
The system has accumulated more than 100,000 nautical miles of monitored sea trials while undergoing continuous testing in collaboration with commercial shipowners, insurers, compliance organizations, and government stakeholders.
It has also been independently evaluated by major commercial organizations before fleet adoption and successfully validated during Jammertest 2024 and 2025 under realistic electronic warfare conditions.
Today, leading international fleet operators have selected PntGuard following extensive onboard testing and operational validation, demonstrating confidence in the system’s maturity, reliability, and operational performance.
Unlike many emerging APNT solutions, PntGuard has progressed beyond laboratory demonstrations and limited pilot programmes to become a commercially deployable maritime navigation assurance platform.
